It is being acknowledged by Kilbride Area Development that it is an objective within the Draft Kilbride Written Statement to include the provision of green infrastructure in the area. KILB OBJ15: To enhance community and recreational uses including support for the development of a village green/pocket park within the village.
Response: It is envisaged to locate the provision of a pocket park within the Village of Kilbride on a site identified in Fig.5. of our original submission. This site is currently characterised by an apple orchard which is approx. 100 years old and would be a key feature and maintained as part of a proposed pocket park in the village centre.
