I would like to support Proposed Ashbourne Amendment No. 7 (NOM111) to amend the zoning from R/A Rural Area to F1 Open space. 
Ashbourne has taken on more than its share of house builds with zero amenities for the people living here and needs among other things more green space.
In order to strengthen the community in Ashbourne and to make the town a more attractive place to live, provision for a Park is required.
During the global pandemic and our lockdowns it has become more obvious than ever, that Ashbourne needs this as a matter of urgency. 
While locked down to 5 and 10km, it has been found that there is nowhere green that the residents of Ashbourne can go for a walk or excercise.

I think this land bank is the obvious choice for a park in ashbourne.
So I ask that the County Development Plan 2021-2027 incorporate an unequivocal commitment to a Community Park of at least 80 acres.
