Future Analytics have produced a report stating that Ashbourne requires a public park of at least 80 acres. I don't think anyone in their right mind can even question this fact. From a health perspective both physical and mental Ashbourne requires an outlet for people both young and old. Given the population boom in the area this is a basic necessity for the community. The lands identified with the entrance at Churchfields is an ideal location for such a park. We don't need more houses in Ashbourne ..... we need a public park. To grant planning for future developments without providing the required infrasructure which includes a public park, would be a dereliction of duty and care to the residents of Ashbourne. 

Covid 19 has been tough on everyone both young and old. For residents of Ashborune it has highlighted the lack of public facilities. 

I fully support the rezoning of these lands to cater for a public park.
