I live in Ashbourne Co. Meath and am so dissappointed with the planning for Ashbourne. We have been totally left behind in green space. Unless you are rich and can pay to be a member of a club there is no public park or anything available to us. The pnly playground we have was built by builders originally for killegland apts and has no publick toilets so the kids have to use the bushes. 

The 5km restrictions highlighted how poor this facility is as all paying greenspaces were closed for months. People are committing suicide and are depressed out of their heads for months now and Meath CoCo are giving planning to EVEN more housing at Churchfields where the only logical entrance to our park might go. Please please please do something to help our hugely expanding town, there is no where to go that is free here or within walking distance. Even Balrath woods (drivingt distance) was closed during lockdown. Its not good enough for a town this size which pays so much in property taxes and taxed in general.
