As a resident of Ashbourne for over 40 years and as a mother of three and grandmother to 6 wonderful grandchildren grandmother I have to join thousands of others across Ashbourne’s wonderful community to support the proposal for a Public Park with a minimum of 80 acres to provide the long needed space for young and old. I do not wish to continue to bring my grandchildren out of Ashbourne, as I did for my children to enjoy and reap the benefits of the great outdoors.
I fully support the development of this park for the Ashbourne and wider community to benefit all ages young and old and provide for their needs for generations to come. The site selection at Killegland Farm is accessible to all the community; schools, homes and sport groups. This rezoning is vital to ensure the long term dream of a Public Park can become a reality.
