As a life long Ashbourne resident, Ashbourne needs the proposed 80 acre park as a matter of urgency. It is frankly disgraceful that Ashbourne has no significant public space at the moment. As shown during the ongoing pandemic, public space is essential for both the physical and mental health of all Ashbourne residents. It is borderline criminal that we have to revisit this topic with numerous promises made to Ashbourne residents by MCC over the years and with none of them every seen through.

In short the proposed park will help transform multiple areas of life - personal, health, community and business and it is the minimum that is needed.
