The closing date for submissions on the Draft Variation No. 4 to the Meath County Development Plan 2021-2027, as varied was 4pm on 16th June, 2025.
A Chief Executive report has been prepared on the submissions received which sets out the Chief Executive’s response to the issues raised in the submissions, and makes recommendations on the proposed amendment, as appropriate.

ADOPTION OF VARIATION NO. 4

Pursuant to Section 13 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended) Meath County Council, being the Planning Authority for County Meath, at their meeting on Monday 7 July 2025, made Variation No. 4 to incorporate the Maynooth and Environs Joint Local Area Plan (LAP) into the Meath County Development Plan 2021-2027 (as varied).
