Provision of Traffic Calming Measures on the Moynalty-Kingscourt public road (R164) in the townland of Ughtyneill, Moynalty, Co. Meath.
Meath County Council, in the exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, hereby gives notice that it has prepared a scheme to provide traffic calming measures on the Moynalty-Kingscourt public road (R164)in the townlands of Ughtyneill, Moynalty, Co. Meath.
The proposed works are in the interest of public safety and convenience of pedestrians. This scheme provides for:
Provision of new footpath from the national school to St Patrick’s Hall at Ughtyneill, Moynalty, Co. Meath.
Provision of new and upgraded road markings, drainage, signage and other ancillary works
The plans and particulars of the proposed scheme will be available for inspection online at https://consult.meath.ie/ from Wednesday 28th January to Thursday 12th February 2026.
Observations in relation to the proposed works, may be made on or before Thursday 12th February 2026 as follows:
