Non-Statutory Public Consultation

Meath County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 and Section 46 of the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009, hereby gives notice that it has prepared a Scheme for the provision of traffic calming measures at the junction of the R150 (Main Street) and L-1609-9 (Station Road) in the Village of Duleek, Co. Meath

.The Scheme provides for;

1. Installation of signalised control at the junction of the R150 and L-1609-9

2. Provision of push button Pedestrian Crossings at the Junction

3. Realignment of road,  realignment of kerb lines and widening of footpaths

4. Updated directional signage

5. Ancillary drainage, kerb, road marking and landscaping works

6. Removal of 8no. car parking bays to facilitate the works

The plans and particulars of the proposed scheme will be available for inspection during office hours at the offices of the Local Authority listed below:

1. Laytown /Bettystown Municipal District Office, Library Building, Main Street, Duleek from 13^th February 2024 until the 28^th February 2024
2. The Council’s consultation portal https://consult.meath.ie
