The closing date for submissions on the Draft Variation No. 5 to the Meath County Development Plan 2021-2027 (as varied) was 4pm on 1st May, 2026.
A Chief Executive’s report has been prepared on the submissions received which sets out the Chief Executive’s response to the issues raised in the submissions, and makes recommendations on the proposed amendments, as appropriate.
Your views and suggestions
A total of 79 submissions were received on the Draft Variation No. 5 to the Meath County Development Plan 2021-2027 (as varied). Meath County Council would like to thank everyone who made submissions.
Outcomes
This Chief Executive’s report was circulated to the Elected Members of Meath County Council on the 28th May, 2026.
Adoption of Variation No. 5
Pursuant to Section 58 of the Planning & Development Act 2024 (as amended) Meath County Council, being the Planning Authority for County Meath, at their meeting on Monday 8 June 2026, made Variation No. 5 to the Meath County Development Plan 2021-2027 (as varied)
