As a parent living in Ashbourne Co. Meath I fully support the rezoning of lands to allow for the purchase of 80 acres for a public park for Ashbourne. Private fee paying clubs do not constitute accessible greenspace. The lack of greenspace in the town is nothing short of a national scandal. The opportunity to rectify mistakes of the past is available now and anyone that stands in the way of this happening should be ashamed of themselves.
